Intersectionality

As a queer immigrant woman of color, intersectionality is an incredible part of my identity. And as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am a strong advocate for transgender rights. Over the years I have been working with queer students and there was a lack of resources and information on the effects of testosterone on the voice of singers. Therefore, my graduate thesis was on creating a trans-affirming studio and how repertoire can help singers in their vocal transition with testosterone.
